1992 Benson and Hedges World Cup


The 1992 Cricket World Cup (Benson & Hedges World Cup)  was held from 22 February to 25 March 1992 in Australia and New Zealand.The first time ‘Man of the Series Award’ was given in this world cup.the first man of the series awarded to Martin Crowe of New Zealand.South Africa admitted to international cricket after the end of apartheid.so it was their first world cup.

Three teams made their World Cup debuts in 1996: the United Arab Emira, the Netherland and Kenya. The Netherlands lost all of their five matches while the U.A.E. only beat the Dutch. Kenya, however, recorded a surprise victory over the West Indies in Pune.
           
           




1999 ICC Cricket World Cup



  The 1999 Cricket World Cup, the seventh edition of the tournament, was hosted primarily by England, but Ireland, Wales, Scotland and the Netherlands also hosted some games.
