SOUTH SUDAN : 193rd INDEPENDENT STATE IN THE WORLD

South Sudan came into existence as the 193^rd independent  state

in the world  on Saturday, July 9, 2011 .it also joined in United Nations
as 193^rd member( montinegro became  192^nd member).South Sudan is the 54^th country
in african continent.Eritrea,the country came into existence  before south sudan
in the african continent. Majority of population are christian and africantraditional beliefs .

South Sudan came into existence  Juba  as its capital as the result of a referendum held
from 9 to 15  january 2011 and 99 percentage of the population voted in favour of independent nation. 
John Garang, the founder of the Sudan People's Liberation Army ( SPLA/M) was the first President of the autonomous government until his death on 30 July 2005. John Garang de Mabior led the Sudan People's Liberation Army until his death in 2005.
